Earth Day celebration in April
Earth Day on the mountain with 40 students, parents and teachers was a beautiful day....
and a reminder that we live and breath this mountain air. The students were treated to a birds eye view of their place in nature as they gazed upon their town and neighborhoods. Lively discussions came from the knowledge of how mountains were formed. Part of knowing your place in nature is the understanding of local geology.
Thank you to new docent Eric Jones, Docent of the Year Sheana Fry and Outdoor Educator James Lydick! A good time was had by all!
