Through February-Conservation Art Features Outdoor Education at Julian Schools!
In Julian, much is happening in the realm of Environmental Awareness.
Students of all ages are participating in either the Kids with Cameras program after school,
or they are receiving Outdoor Education through the University of Wednesdays program.
We have been doing a variety of classes featuring: tracking; seed ball making and distribution;
survival skills; botanical drawing; Oak Woodland awareness, and insect awareness.
Decomposers are a big hit around here, as they make up the forest floor, and turn waste into soil.
Waste managers of the highest ilk!

Please contact Kathleen Beck, VMF Education Coordinator, if you would like to be involved with our exciting new program.
