Hike Santa Ysabel West Back Trails, Saturday, March 3, 2018
Saturday, March 3rd Join San Diego County Parks Attendant, Bill Augustus on a hike through some of the back trails of the Santa Ysabel West Preserve starting off with dramatic views of the Santa Ysabel Valley from above. Learn some of the history of this wild west goldmining and cattle town while hiking through a normally closed section of this beautiful preserve that you don't usually get to see. This is a moderate-to-difficult 6-mile hike.
Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Bring: Water and snacks
Wear: Sturdy shoes and dress in layers since the temperature might vary
Location: Meet at the Santa Ysabel West Preserve (approximately 1 mile west of Santa Ysabel and 12 miles east of Ramona, across from 29313 Highway 78, Santa Ysabel, CA 92070.
