Learning About Mountain Lions-County Parks Presentation & Hike, Sunday, October 16, 2016
Sunday, October 16th (from 4-6:30pm) visit County Parks Santa Ysabel Preserve-East to learn more about mountain lions in the backcountry from local Mountain Lion Foundation (MLF) representative, Jane Santorumn. She'll talk about MLF's Julian Mountain Lion Program on co-existing in the backcountry with mountain lions--what it means for both the community and the lions that live there.
After the program, a short hike will be offered to show why this area is such great habitat for California's largest cat! Meet at the Santa Ysabel Preserve-East, Farmer Road Staging Area, Amphitheater. Inclement weather will cancel this event.
